Find out how our youngsters are doing away from Vicarage Road with their respective loan clubs

Matt Whichelow enjoyed a goal on his Wycombe debut as only one of two young Hornets to play over the weekend due to the inclement weather.

Attacker Whichelow, on loan at Wycombe Wanderers
, grabbed the leveller for his new side who beat Tranmere Rovers 2-1 at Adams Park.

Adam McGurk put the Wirral outfit ahead before Whichelow levelled in the 23rd minute. Seven minutes later, veteran Gareth Ainsworth nabbed the winner.

Former Watford super-sub Anthony McNamee also featured for the Chairboys – from the bench.

The only other Watford youngster in action was Tamworth loanee, Chez Isaac.

Isaac got 90 minutes under his belt for the Lambs who drew away at Fleetword 2-2 with 10 men.

Back in League One, Scunthorpe United pair David Mirfin and Josh Walker saw their game fall foul of the weather.

Colchester United loanee Gavin Massey was also prohibited by the weather which claimed the U’s fixture too.
