Yesterday, Watford confirmed that midfielder Ben Watson had now signed a new extension to his deal at Vicarage Road.
Having joined the side from Wigan Athletic in January 2015, he played an important role in the second half of the 2014/15 season where Watford secured promotion back to the Premier League, and in the 2015/16 campaign as we secured survival, he made 41 appearances with 35 of those coming in the league. He also scored against Manchester City and West Bromwich Albion.
Watson was half way through a two year deal, but he has now signed an extension keeping him at the club until the summer of 2018.
