It will be an anxious wait in the Helguson household over the next 24 hours after Braveheart Watford boss, Malky Mackay, revealed that Heider is still “touch and go” to make the trip to Reading.

Helguson wound back the years last Saturday to set pulses racing and hearts a fluttering with a 2 goal haul in an all action 35 minute spell off the bench in the 3-3 Foxes thriller – only to hobble off with a calf injury 10 minutes from time & leave the Vic on crutches.

And, even after a MRI scan on Wednesday, Watford have confirmed that they are “still working on Heider” and will leave it as late as possible to give the Iceman enough time to recover – with Malky suggesting that the Hornets will “make a decision on Saturday morning”.

Yes he really is that touch and go!!! .

Malky Mackay told the clubs ‘fficial site “We need need to see how he reacts to intense physiotherapy over the next two days?.He`s had knocks and bruises and injuries throughout his career but he`s a Viking and just gets on with it”.

Hmmm, here at VitalWatford we suggest the blond bombshell that is the gorgeous ‘Mrs H` wrap her hubby up in cotton wool and get her beloved husband in bed nice and early with a cup of puffin juice for company.

It would work for us so? fingers, toes and ears crossed.
