Matej Vydra will be free to face Peterborough United in 11 days time after his three-match ban was overturned.
The Czech Republic international was dismissed during Watford’s 2-1 defeat to Middlesbrough on Saturday by referee Steve Rushton.
However, the Football Association has quashed Rushton’s ruling after Watford lodged an appeal.
Vydra had been dismissed for a stamp, but video evidence showed the the 20 year-old forward had merely been trying to regain his balance after riding a challenge from ‘Boro’s Nicky Bailey.
