Sunderland have confirmed that Didier Ndong has now completed a loan move to Watford.

The 23 year old Gabon international heads to Vicarage Road on a deal that will run until the end of the season and with the midfielder making no secret of the fact that he didn’t want to be at the club in the Championship, Watford are under an obligation to purchase the player come the summer subject to certain criteria’s being met.

There will no doubt be more on this deal in the coming day or two.

He does leave the Stadium of Light having made 48 starting appearances with a further six from the bench and in that time he returned one goal.

This season he has made 21 appearances.
