Watford have today confirmed the capture of Pontus Dahlberg and the departures of Isaac Success and Costel Pantilimon.
The 19 year old Swedish Under 21 goalkeeper has penned a five and a half year deal at Vicarage Road following agreement with IFK Goteborg but he does return to the side for the remainder of the season as part of the deal.
The player already has 32 appearances under his belt for IFK and there was reportedly significant interest in his services.
22 year old Success heads out on a loan move to Malaga for the rest of the campaign. With 20 appearances and one goal for us, hopefully he’ll get greater game time in La Liga.
Also heading out on a loan spell is goalkeeper Pantilimon, and he heads to Nottingham Forest for the rest of the year. Pantilimon was out on loan with Deportivo le La Coruna for the first half of the year, but the 30 year old will spend the rest of 2017/18 out at the City Ground.
Whilst with Deportivo he made seven appearances.
