Hornet’s outcast Nathan Ellington will still be available for Watford’s upcoming games despite the beginning of Ramadam.

The festival rather inconveniently, for an already lethargic Nathan Ellington prevents him from eating during the day, thus rendering training and matches virtually impossible.

However, Hornets supremo, and not a man to duck out lightly, Malky Mackay claims it will not prevent the self-styled ‘Duke’ from featuring.

‘Nathan handles himself absolutely professionally and is someone who trains particularly well and has done since day one of pre-season.

‘It [Ramadan] is something he has been involved in for some years, so it is something he controls absolutely fine.’

And, in a bizarre twist of fate, it’s probably a good job too! With Tommy Smith enjoying the comfort of his deckchair on the South Coast, the Hornets are mighty short of forwards at present with Will Hoskins second choice to young’gun Marvin Sordell.

Surely though Will Hoskins on his deathbed would be preferential to Nathan Ellington with or without a full stomach!?!
