Cardiff boss Dave Jones believes Watford will leave the relegation dogfight well alone and expects them to fighting for honours further up the league this season.

The Bluebirds boss, who sees his side travel to Vicarage Road tonight (Tuesday) with only 1 league defeat to date, said “?Watford will be up there challenging at the end of the season because they are a force to be reckoned with in this division”.

But Jones revealed that, unlike some Championship manager`s this season who have expressed ‘surprise`, his in-form Cardiff troops won`t be caught out by the new look Hornets outfit.

With all the confidence of a man who`s done his homework, he added “They are big and strong but Aidy Boothroyd has tried to change their playing system, by the report`s we`ve been getting.”

“Whether they have the right blend yet is something they`ll be working on but they are still a tough proposition”.

So with the scouting reports analysed and the homework on the opposition done, let`s hope that a dog eats the tactics board in the away dressing room.
