ROSS JENKINS began his Plymouth Argyle loan spell in style, scoring on his debut for the Pilgrims in a 3-2 victory at Morecambe.

The 21 year-old midfielder, who moved to the west country last week, scored in the 72nd minute to put Carl Fletcher`s side back in the game before two penalties from former Luton Town forward Warren Feeney handed Argyle an unlikely three points.

Jenkins was also booked during the game.

Elsewhere in League Two, Matty Whichelow & Piero Mingoia both made their debuts for Accrington Stanley.
Joe Garner was making his second debut for Carlisle United at Coventry City`s Ricoh Arena.

The Cumbrians were 2-1 victors over Mark Robins` side with Danny Livesy and Danny Cadamarteri getting the all-important goals for Carlisle to cancel out David McGoldrick`s opener.

Garner got 84 minutes before being substituted.

Back in League Two Adam Thompson`s Wycombe Wanders came up against Dale Bennett`s Wimbledon, with the Wombles notching a priceless 1-0 win.

The south Londoners sacked manager Terry Brown and his assistant Stuart Cash in the week, whilst Saturday`s victory cost Wycombe`s Gary Waddock his job.

Thompson was an unused substitute for the Chairboys whilst Bennett played the full 90 minutes for Wimbledon.

Finally, Britt Assombalonga was unable to add to his impressive goal tally for Southend United, drawing a rare blank during the Shrimpers 2-1 win over high-fliers Exeter City.

Goals from Barry Corr and returning hero Freddy Eastwood won the points for Paul Sturrock`s side.
