It’s Hameur Time! (no really it is)

Ok, we`ll admit it…All this talk of Hot shot Hameur Bouazza leaving for pastures new has got us all a quiver here at VitalWatford.

Sir Aidy has already made it clear that he feels we are a little short of competition on the wings to get the best out of Smith and new boy McAnuff and I`ve yet to see anything of McNamee to suggest to me he`s gonna make a real difference this season.

But is Hameur really worth £5m – The dog eared hacks down at many a redtop seem to think so but VitalWatford remain unconvinced.

If Fulham, Portsmouth and even Osasuna of all people are prepared to pay out that kind of sum then surely the ‘Good ship Boothroyd` should anchor up and listen?

After all, lets not forget that Bouazza spent most of the promotion season bob bob bobbing along on loan at Swindon, and whilst he`s come back eager to show that he is capable, he`s still very much a raw talent – raw pace, raw power ? but raw none the less…

Then again if Ashley (I said Ashley) Young is worth £10m and Michael Chopra can go up in value by £4.5 literally overnight then it just goes to show what a mad mad merry-go-round the whole transfer bandwagon is!
