Everybody…Backroom’s back

Another ‘important signing’ on the horizon and yets its another bleedin ‘backroomer’ to add to Aidy’s growing Vic Road massive!!!

So we’ve poached a first team coach from Norwich, who brings some form as U19 England coach and was – wait for it – assistant manager at the mighty Bantams…

Yeah Aidy, that’s all well and good but is this guy gonna score us 20 goals a season to win promotion? Is he gonna be the instrumental playmaker to unlock the stubbornest of stubborn defences?

How many backroom boys does a club need huh – Dick Bates, Big Bob, Keith Mincher, Andy Rolls, Richard Collinge, Martyn Pert, Malky Mackay, Alec Chamberlain, Martin Hunter…Rod, Jane and Freddie

Don’t get me wrong I am all for technical directors, fitness coaches, pyschologists and medical guru’s but what the fans are really screaming for is someone who makes us stand up, take notice and say ‘blimey, I can’t wait to watch him play next season’…

And I’m just not sure a UEFA Pro License tutor, as qualified as he may be, is gonna really cut the mustard!!!!
