Watford’s Premier League season continued with a win against Norwich at Vicarage Road on Saturday as, which I’d said ahead of the game were needed, the points were collected at home in a two-nil win.

A foul by Norwich’s Alex Tettey on Odion Ighalo on the half hour gave Troy Deeney the chance from the penalty spot with the Watford captain making no mistake. The points were secured beyond doubt in injury-time when Ighalo added the second.

Again this pairing, with Deeney setting up the Nigerian for his goal, produced the goods!

The other results this weekend were as follows:-

Saturday 5th December
Stoke 2-0 Man City
Arsenal 3-1 Sunderland
Man Utd 0-0 West Ham
Southampton 1-1 Aston Villa
Swansea 0-3 Leicester
Watford 2-0 Norwich
West Brom 1-1 Tottenham
Chelsea 0-1 Bournemouth

Before this round of games are over we’ve got games to play on Sunday and Monday:-

Sunday 6th December 2015
Newcastle v Liverpool 16:00

Monday 7th December 2015
Everton v Crystal Palace 20:00

Looking at these results (so far) the stand out ones have to be the wins for Stoke and Bournemouth?

Man City losing at Stoke, with the Potters running out two-nil winners was topped, even though they’ve been ‘struggling’ this season as it is, by Bournemouth becoming the latest side to win at Stamford Bridge when the Cherries scored late on to beat Chelsea one-nil!
