Striker Fernando Forestieri was your Vital Watford ‘Man-of-the-Match’ against Middlesbrough last Saturday.

The diminutive forward picked up 27 per cent of Vital reader’s votes to land the accolade.

Forestieri scored his fourth Championship goals in 11 starts against ‘Boro last Saturday, to put the Hornets ahead before Dani Ayala’s injury time leveller.

Rosario-born Forestieri has been in impressive form in recent weeks and one of few bright spots for Hornets supporters with his recent showings up front.

In second place was substitute Cristian Battocchio, the Italian Under-21 international taking 22 per cent of the vote as he finally returned to first-team action from the bench.

Finally, rounding off the top three with 11 per cent each were Marco Cassetti and Sean Murray.
