Sean Dyche has confirmed that there have been no bids from potential suitors for the club’s players whilst also revealing that the club are monitoring the situations of our loanees.

The gaffer has revealed that the situations of loanees Michael Kightly (Wolves), Nyron Nosworthy (Sunderland) and Craig Beattie (Swansea) are being monitored.

Kightly and Nosworthy have been superb since arriving in late Autumn whilst Beattie has struggled for fitness and first-team opportunities.

Speaking to The Watford Observer, Dyche said:

“We`ll just monitor the situations and see what comes of it. Obviously the reality is the parent club are always the powerful club. We`re monitoring that and aligning things as we see fit if we have to replace or if we have to change the team around.”

The boss then move onto the future of the club’s ‘big names’, the likes of Scott Loach, Adrian Mariappa and Marvin Sordell:

“I`m happy to say we haven`t [received any bids], so that`s important.

“Those have been there since last summer so they`re not fresh ones.’

VitalWatford understands that there was interest late in the summer Transfer Window from a Championship and a Premier League club for eight-goal top-scorer Sordell.

Top-flight outfits Blackburn Rovers and Bolton are also believed to be chasing the England U21 forward.
