Dyche: ‘I don’t feel robbed’

Speaking at full-time, Sean Dyche admitted that today’s clash with Leeds United could have gone either way in the end.

Simon Grayson’s men grabbed an equaliser with the last kick of the game after substitute Mika Vayrynen won his side a penalty.

Watford had earllier missed a late penalty of their own through Marvin Sordell.

Dyche though admitted his disappointment with a decision he described as ‘soft’:

‘I thought it was a soft penalty, and I have seen it again, but referees have a very tough job.

‘Obviously you are always disappointed if those key decisions do not go your way but that is all it is, people can decide themselves. You have seen them given and you have seen them not given.’

Speaking to Clubcall.com the boss continued:

‘I don’t feel robbed because that is the reality of football; it can spin on a knife edge.

‘One tiny moment and a refereeing decision changed the feel of it but the performance was good from us throughout and I am disappointed not to take all three points.’

Watford now dust themselves down from the disappointment of not taking all three points and head up to Lancashire to face Blackpool next weekend.
