Long-serving defender Lloyd Doyley this afternoon took to Twitter to announce a one-year contract extension at Watford.
Doyley, 30, had been out of contract this summer but was not included on the club’s released list, suggesting that he would be offered fresh terms.

The club’s longest-serving player, Doyley made 39 appearances for the Golden Boys and was exemplary at the heart of the Hornet’s defence.
Doyley marked another faultless season at Vicarage Road by making his international debut for Jamaica as well enjoying a testimonial match against Tottenham Hotspur last August to celebrate 10 years since his first-team debut.
In April, the Whitechapel-born defender made his 400th appearance as a Hornet in the memorable 1-0 victory over Hull City at the KC Stadium.
