41 year old player/coach Alec Chamberlain says 22 year old goalkeeper Ben Foster has a lot to learn and will get better as time goes on despite some outstanding performances already! Foster, who is on a year’s loan Manchester United, has made an impressive start to his time at Watford. Chamberlain explains: ‘It’s a question of experience. He can improve his decision-making and be a little more dominant when claiming crosses. But he has a fantastic future and is a very level-headed lad.’

Chamberlain also says of Foster: ‘His kicking is breathtaking. Even in the Premiership, I do not see a keeper who can kick the ball further than Ben. It’s a great asset for us, because the players can give him the ball in the knowledge it will be dispatched deep into the opposition half. The strikers are always ready for that ball over the top.’
