Watford have been handed yet ANOTHER injury blow in their relegation run-in as former Rochdale winger-cum-forward Will Buckley has been ruled out for three weeks.

The 21 year-old was already injured when the Hornet’s paid an undisclosed fee to bring him from Spotland in January. Having made his long awaited debut against Cardiff as a sub and has since made four more league starts scoring once against Preston North End.

However, boss Malky Mackay has confirmed that since his substitution against West Brom the forward has undergone a couple of scans which have confirmed the worst:

“In the last couple of days we have had scans done and spoken to specialists and at the moment it looks as though Will will not be available for the next three weeks.”

The Hornet’s were recently robbed of the services of Manchester United loanee Tom Cleverley for the remainder of the season with knee ligament damage whilst Lloyd Doyley is also currently hamstrung though there’s been no date set for his return.

With all these injuries and suspensions at the Vic’ at the moment, perhaps we’ll finally see Ryan Noble…or even Jure Travner!
