Jonathan Bond was your Vital Watford ‘Man-of-the-Match’ during the Hornet’s 1-0 win over Hull City.

Bond pulled off a string of fine saves during the Golden Boys crucial victory on Humberside, helping preserve the narrow win with positive and decisive goalkeeping and command of his area.

The Hemel Hempstead-born stopper secured 31% of your vote.

In second place to Bond, with 27% of the vote, was all-action midfielder Cristian Battocchio.

The diminutive Argentine-Italian was imperious for the Hornets in the centre of the park, working tirelessly and covering every blade of grass for the cause.

Finally, rounding off the top three with 18% of the vote, was Marco Cassetti.

The veteran Italian slotted in seamlessly at centre-half and put in a perfect display alongside Lloyd Doyley and Joel Ekstrand.

Despite spending much of the season at right wing-back, the 35 year-old never put a foot wrong in his secondary position.
