Midfielder Almen Abdi has been taken to hospital after falling awkwardly on his shoulder during today’s 6-1 at Leeds.

The Swiss international was substitute shortly after scoring the Hornet’s second goal at Elland Road this afternoon after falling on his shoulder.

It is not yet known whether or not the Udinese loanee dislocated his shoulder or not, but Gianfranco Zola has confirmed Abdi had been taken to hospital.

“I think it`s the shoulder. We don`t know whether it`s dislocated or whatever is the problem but he`s gone to the hospital,’ Zola told The Watford Observer.

As soon as there is news on the midfielder’s condition, Vital Watford will bring it to you.
