Young Not For Sale

Adrian Boothroyd has joked ‘We have changed all our phone numbers, so people can ring up and ask about Ashley all they like,’ following a number of enquiries about the availability of Watford midfielder Ashley Young.

Confirming: ‘…we are not going to sell anybody. We want to get into the Premiership, so we will leave it to other clubs to sell their best players. We want to be buying when the window re-opens.’

20 year old Young played a pivotal part of the Hornets 3-1 victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers playing a part in all three goals by Jay DeMerit, Marlon King and Paul Devlin.

So, they can look, but they can’t touch. Lets hope the board agree!
