Winger Albert Jarratt has joined Premiership Watford on a one-year deal.

The tricky wideman – who had been on trial at Vicarage Road throughout the summer – impressed in several friendly matches and has been rewarded with permanent contract after falling out of contract with League One outfit Brighton.

“It`s a great opportunity, not just for me but also all of the boys who won promotion to the Premier League,” the 21-year-old told the club`s official site.

“I can’t wait to take my chance here and am really looking forward to the start of the season.”

“From day one, I could tell it was a place moving forward, right from the first conversation I had with Mr Boothroyd,” continued Jarratt. ” I’m really glad to be a part of helping the club to push on.”

Jarratt featured 25 times for the Seagulls in his two years at the club, while also playing on loan at Stevenage and Swindon.
