Watford head of recruitment Ross Wilson has re-affirmed his commitment to the Hornets after speculation linking him with a move to Derby County.

The former Falkirk man only joined the Hornets in the summer, replacing John Stephenson who had joined Brighton.

The tabloid press have been busy speculating that Wilson was in line to head up Derby’s new football operations strand however.

Rams boss Nigel Clough is believed to not be keen on the appointment of someone above him but Wilson looks unlikely to become that man.

Good to see some loyalty for once!
