It appears a dismal performance between the sticks for the England U21s during the 4-0 drubbing at the hands of Germany, hasn`t put off potential suitors keeping tabs on Watford keeper Scott Loach.

The Hornets stopper may well have fallen foul with a severe case of the ‘Scott Carsons` on the international scene but he`s still a wanted man with Spurs reportedly ready to poach Loach from Watford for, wait for it, £6m!!!!

Yes folks, you read that right – £6m?.

…or so says the sports desk at the Daily Mail (who dub him a “flop”) & The Times, who must really be having a slow news day to think up such a figure for a guy with only 30 career games at Championship level to his name.

Lets face it though, if Harry Redknapp is really “ready to make a £6m bid” for a back-up to warm the bench whilst Heeurelho Gomes makes a clown of himself on a weekly basis, then the cash hungry money men at Vicarage Road will indeed no doubt listen – and well, who can blame them!
