Harry Forrester started for England Under 16s in Koper but the young Lions were undone by two late goals.

The final score was 3-1 in the first international game of 2007 for the youngsters.

Following a mix up in the England defence Slovenia took an early lead.

England came back and were level inside 20 minutes.

New Tottenham signing Dean Parrett was quickest to react to a powerful shot from the edge of the box from young Hornet Forrester.

Parrett was on hand to pick up the pieces after a fumble from the goalkeeper.

Forrester played nearly 60 minutes before being replaced by Andros Townesend from Tottenham Hotspur.

The home side continued to dominate affairs and were rewarded for their efforts with two goals late on in the game.
