Watford wideman Albert Jarrett has been called up by Sierra Leone to play in an African Nations Cup qualifier against Benin on Sunday.

The tricky winger has been on the fringes of the first team this season after impressing in the reserves and made his full Watford debut in the league cup defeat over Accrington Stanley last month.

Jarrett, who turns 22 this month, was signed by Aidy Boothroyd during the summer from Brighton and Hove Albion.

If Jarrett is good enough to be selected for his national side, then surely there is another player at Vicarage Road that was born in Sierra Leone that is good to receive a call-up: Al Bangura.
