Burley, who was appointed Saints? head-coach on Friday, will have Nigel Quasie and Rory Delap both available for selection as they return from a four-match and one-match ban respectively.
The former Colchester, Ipswich, Derby and Hearts manager will also have midfielder Nathan Dyer and forward Dexter Blackstock available. Dyer, who figured in Watford?s 4-1 defeat at Turf Moor last saturday, has been recalled from his loan spell at Burnley, while Blackstock has been recalled from his loan spell at Derby County.
Southampton last met Watford at Vicarage Road in November 2004 in the fourth round of the Carling Cup with the Hornets hammering the Premiership outfit 5-2.
