The proposed takeover of Watford Football Club appears to be reaching a climax.
Tomorrows edition of The Watford Observer has an ‘exclusive in-depth interview’ with the man looking to takeover the club according to both their Twitter feed – Observer Owl

One has to wonder if either of the men believed to be involved – Laurence Bassini and Panos Thomas would be able to speak to the press if the deal was yet to be agreed. So that, and my hope this isn’t a lot of smoke, makes these two seem creditable.
There are also rumours sparked by the ‘Observer Owl’ amongst others on Hornets websites that the takeover would see the club moved to Elstree –

Further rumours come via WFC Forums where the administrator no less has a heap of ‘inside information’ on the subject –
‘Stay at the Vic or re-locate’
Now, we at VitalWatford Towers would never believe a story off the back of some forum tittle tattle, but there’s certainly a lot of tittle-tattling going on at the moment; it strikes us as all too much of a coincidence.
