Maltese striker – and one time Watford trialist – Daniel Bogdanovic has joined Italian Series C outfit Cisco Calcio Roma, after failing to make the grade in England.

The 27-year old striker was touted around Europe by former 80s Watford and Arsenal midfielder legend Brian Talbot, after netting 52 times in 44 games for Maltese league side Marsaxlokk but made little impression whilst on trail at both Watford and Crystal Palace, back in January 2007.

The Maltese hitman, who paired up with Coventry`s Michael Mifsud for the 2004 European Championship qualifying campaign, now partners the aging legs of Paolo Di Canio up front for Cisco Roma – a side famous for nurturing the likes of Luca Toni and Francesco Totti.
