Watford handed away tie in FA Cup

Watford will travel to Bristol City in the 3rd round of this seasons FA Cup.

The last time the Hornets went to Ashton Gate was in last season`s Championship as the home side ran out 2-0 winners.

Watford departed the competition at the 3rd round stage last season after an away defeat to eventual runners up, Manchester City as they ran out 3-0 winners thanks to goals from Carlos Tevez, Gareth Barry and Marcos Lopes.

The game will be played on the weekend of 4th and 5th January 2014.
