Watford are considering changing shirt sponsors just a few weeks into a one-year agreement with local company, ‘The Happy Egg Company.

The Hornet’s shirts were not emblazoned with the company’s logo against Boreham Wood on Tuesday and today The Watford Observer have revealed that a change could be on the cards.

A deal was struck for a one-year shirt sponsorship agreement on June 22, just a week before the Pozzo family’s takeover.

However, just under a month after the deal began, it is understood by The Watford Observer that the Pozzo family believe they can strike a financially attractive deal.

There is, as yet, no comment from either party.
