Hornet’s supremo Sean Dyche has told the Watford Observer that he is on the lookout for a winger.

The transfer window closed on Wednesday evening, so any move by the Watford boss will have to be on a loan basis.

Winger’s Mark Yeates and Craig Forsyth have already arrived at WD18 this summer, but are the only recognized wide-men on the club’s books.

Speaking to the W.O, Dyche said:

“It is about getting quality and the wide areas is one place where we need more quality.

“We like the players we have got but you need the demand of other faces. We feel we have that demand in other positions now but quality will always be something we will look for.’

Watford were rumored to be looking at Swansea City’s Welsh international, David Cotterill, before the transfer window closed.

For the mean time though, Troy Deeney remains the closest thing to backup to Forysth and Yeates…
