It’s being reported this morning that Watford and Burnley have now agreed a deal for striker Andre Gray.

Sky Sports are one of many to report today that they believe from their sources that both clubs have come to an agreement on an £11.5million deal, although some outlets are quoting £18.5million as the final fee.

I imagine the truth lies somewhere in between based on addons and other contractual bits and pieces.

Sky say personal terms are now being discussed ahead of a medical taking place and with Gray in his final year at Turf Moor, it’s a phenomenal bid in reality given his own rise through Brentford.

Gray is believed to have turned down a new offer at the club which would’ve made him their best paid player in history.

The 26 year old was playing non league football with Luton Town only three years ago but in recent times he has clocked up 120 league appearances with a return of 50 goals, 10 of those goals coming last season in the Premier League.
