Watford are “resigned to losing” Brendan Rodgers according to many a source today after a compensation package worth more than £500k has “all but been agreed” with Reading.

With the Horents board refusing to comment and John Madjeski (named after a stadium presumably) failing to dispel rumours, the writing appears on the wall at Vicarage Road with Rodgers reign set to end less than 8 months after it only began.

Oh how Rodgers must love being loved? Reading lined up ONLY 7 managers for the position and have turned to him after being scared off Darren Ferguson by Posh owner Barry Fry?. (and who can blame him – Scary!)

The GetReading website reckon that only steps left are for the Royals to agree personal terms with the Northern Irishman, who just 7 days ago, said “[I] am loyal”, confirmed he had “not applied for the job” and that “people are questioning [his] integrity” by even suggesting he`d jump ship.

Is Rodgers ready to take up the mantle of being the next Steve Bruce – time will only tell but if he does go his talk of ‘integrity` will make him look a right ol` mug!
