Wolves right back and (former Kennel hero) Kevin Foley reckons Darren Ward has dished the dirt on Watford and their strong arm tactics.
Ward – who has just had his loan spell at Vicarage Road extended by a further month by the Molineux outfit, has been on the blower to tell his employers to expect a tough ol time on Saturday.
Foley told the Birmingham Mail “I spoke to Wardy and he says they are quite a physical team. It will be a strong, physical encounter. We need to go to Watford and be a lot more solid”.
Let`s hope that`s all Ward had to say for himself. With the blond bombshell centre back having impressed already in his second spell at Watford, Ward will be a big miss tomorrow as he is illegible to feature.
All roads then of course lead to a return of Jay Demerit. In truth though, the last thing Watford need is to put out a half fit defender against a free scoring Wolves side, already dubbed ‘a wounded animal` by Aidy Boothroyd following the midweek trouncing at Norwich.
Still, let`s hope the sight of yellow shirts has another adverse effect on Mick McCarthy `s men.
