Josh Walker bagged on his debut in Scunthorpe’s 1-1 draw at Colchester.

The 22 year-old midfielder saw the paperwork from his loan deal go through in time to start for the Iron at Colchester and got the opener just eight minutes in.

Ironically, Walker’s only goal whilst he was on-loan at Stevenage was against Scunthorpe.

A Steven Gillespie equalizer denied the former ‘Boro man a perfect debut as John Ward’s side clung on for a point.

Elsewhere in League One, Dale Bennett got another 90 minutes under his belt for Brentford.
