Marlon King has been named in the Jamaica squad to face England in a friendly fixture at Old Trafford on June 3.

King, arguably the hottest property outside the top flight of English football, has scored 21 Championship goals to help fire Watford into the play-off final and will be winning his eleventh cap when the Reggae Boyz face Sven Goran Eriksson?s side.

Although Jamaica failed to qualify for the World Cup in Germany, they are warm-up opponents for the Three Lions who face fellow Carribeans Trinidad and Tobago in their opening group match on June 10.

Being born in Dulwich King is also eligible for England as well Jamaica, and with England only having two quality strikers – both of who are injured – perhaps if King had opted for the country of his birth he would be going to Germany in June.

Marlon King or Theo Walcott, anyone?
