Former Birmingham City striker Kevin Phillips, 37, is set to return to Vicarage Road, according to The Sun
Phillips has recently been released by relegated Birmingham, having never been first-choice at St Andrews.
The former Sunderland, Villa, Southampton and West Brom hitman left the Hornet’s in 1997 having signed three years earlier from non-league Baldock Town.
Phillips spent six years at The Stadium of Light scoring 113 league goals in 208 appearances for the Black Cats.
