So the 3pm KO is nearly upon us. West Ham v Watford. A must win for both teams.

West Ham manager Alan Curbishley could be boosted by the return of defenders Lucas Neill and Anton Ferdinand for their Barclays Premiership relegation battle with Watford at Upton Park.

Ferdinand is back in full training after the groin injury which has kept him out of the last two games, while Neill, who damaged ankle ligaments on his debut against Watford in the FA Cup defeat two weeks ago, could also make it in time.

Boothroyd has stated that he will make changes from the Bolton game. He feels it necessary to blood in the new players as quickly as possible and try one last effort at escaping relegation.

If we lose, well, what next? I’m afraid it will look grim. Very grim. I will be hoping and praying we can get a result this afternoon. It definitely is ‘squeezy-bum’ time.
