The 20 year-old is named as part of an experimental line-up by Three Lions boss Stuart Pearce, and is partnered by Hull City loanee, Martyn Waghorn.

Sordell made his England U21 debut against Azerbijan in an U21 European Championship’s qualifier at Vicarage Road last Thursday but this clash is only a friendly.

England line-up: Amos (Man Utd); Wisdom (Liverpool), Craig Dawson (WBA), Baker (Villa), Bennett (Middlesbrough); Barkley (Everton), Rodwell (c) (Everton), Gosling (Newcastle), Shelvey (Liverpool); Sordell (Watford) and Waghorn (Hull).

Subs: Briggs (Fulham), Rudd (GK) (Norwich), Smith (Tottenham), Flanagan (Liverpool), Caulker (Swansea), Gardner (Villa), Oxlade-Chamberlain (Arsenal), Delfouneso (Villa), Wickham (Sunderland), Butland (GK) (Birmingham) and Lansbury (West Ham).

Good luck Marvin!
