Hitman Marvin Sordell bagged a stunner on his England to help Stuart Pearce’s men on their way to a 4-1 win over Israel.

Sordell put the Three Lions in the lead for the first time on the night with a cracking 30 yard effort which grazed the crossbar on it’s way in.

England went on to win 4-1 with substitute Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain grabbing all four assists for Pearce’s side; Martyn Waghorn, Henri Lansbury and Nathan Delfouneso with the other goals.

Meanwhile, Andi Weiamann has been banging in the goals on international duty too, scoring a brace in a 4-1 at Luxembourg and another in a 3-2 win over Greece for Austria’s U21’s
