Watford will have six players out on international duty over the coming few weeks.

After being named Watford’s Player of the Season for 2016/17, Sebastian Prodl finds himself in the Austrian squad for their World Cup qualifier against the Republic of Ireland in Dublin on Sunday June 11.

Valon Behrami is part of the Switzerland squad that hosts Belarus in a friendly on Thursday June 1.

Northern Ireland have taken Craig Cathcart in their group for the World Cup qualifier against Azerbaijan on Saturday June 10, but having been sidelined with injury the player will not be risked for the friendly against New Zealand on Friday June 2.

Nordin Amrabat is back with Morocco for their friendly hosting of Holland on Wednesday May 31, before they then travel to face Cameroon in a 2019 African Cup of Nations qualifier on Saturday June 10.

Goalkeeper Costel Pantilimon is with Poland for their World Cup qualifier against Romania, and that’s followed by a friendly against Chile on Tuesday June 13.

Finally, Steven Berghuis after spending last season with Feyenoord on a loan spell, is with the Dutch for the game against Morocco on Wednesday May 31 and Ivory Coast on Sunday June 4. They then go into a World Cup qualifier against Luxembourg on Friday June 9.
