@jwhitbread1 ‘[I] didn’t think he [Belkalem] was that bad. A bit shakey at times which is to be expected.’

@Chris_Nunn ‘[A] raw talent [Belkalem]. A pretty big step up and overall conducted himself well. Needs time to adapt and games to learn even quicker.’

@NLFG ‘[I] think you’re being harsh about him [Belkalem], was ok defensively. Took a booking for the team first half.’

@mdelasalle93 ‘Too slow, Chalobah and Hogg haven’t been replaced. DF and FF very frustrating. Good to see Vydra in stand #shortandtweet’

@charliedoris94 ‘Angella and Iriney good, Forestieri wasteful. Lacking ruthlessness in the final third. Belkakem is worryingly clumsy. #WFC’

@ryanpatty66 ‘[We] need another winger like Anya relying on him too much.’

@JoshFreedman_ ‘[A] lack of width. Havent quite gelled. Missed Abdi dearly. LM is class as is Angella. Patience needed.’

@Lou_Reed_ ‘Give it time #ShortandTweet’

@leesouth ‘[We] missed Abdi. Fabbrini falls over too much. I hate referees #shortandtweet’

@Seanf81 ‘Disappointing point but one more than we got in the fixture last year. #findingpositives #shortandtweet’

@mykoolhariss ‘Good or bad decisions, ref should never be as focal to a game. Frustrating as we’re better…just not yet #shortandtweet’

    Miss Vydra, miss Hogg, miss Chalobah.. Haven’t replaced with any where near as good players.. What we have replaced with only Angela & Acuna any good.. Fabrinni is very lightweight & lacks quality.. Irinney is slow.. McGugans team work rate us very poor.. We are gonna be a mid table team as we are.. The only players to put there neck on the line where it might get hurt are, Deeney, Acuna, Murray & Anya.. 3/4 of which didn’t even start.. Zola very poor tactically.. I wonder if the owner will renew Zolas contract at the end of the season.. To be honest thus team has never been Zolas team anyway.. He’s had to just blend whoever is sent to him into a team.. We lack passion, fight, determination & team work.. But most if all Watford are slow to attack teams.. Un like parts of last season.. Deeney has been a scape goat for weeks now.. Acuna need a run in the first team..

    Can’t agree with you on much of that, 1881. I think we have missed Vydra more than we thought & the idea of replacing two British snarlers in Hogg & Eustace with a continental model in Iriney, has not worked. Ergo, the club have to be looking for a British DM in the loan window. We have missed Vydra more than we expected and a dynamic midfielder in the Chalobah mould is needed. Fabbrini is lightweight, but so was Forestieri last season. Like Forestieri before him, he has to learn about riding challenges & staying on his feet. Once he’s done that, he’ll take to Englishfootball like Forestieri. We aren’t moving the ball as quickly or effectively as last season and that’s the biggest disappointment for me so far. And I can never buy this ‘they don’t care’ argument from football supporters. They’re professionals, they are fuming when they don’t win or play well. Seven games in, we’ll be absolutely fine. Keep the faith!

    I just think the style of football in England is sooo much different to Spain or Italy.. The pace is unique in this league.. I think Hogg is a great miss.. Watching the season review on Watfordfc.com iplayer I see just how much he & Abdi linked up together.. If U subscribe take a look.. Hoogs work rate was unbelievable in every top win we got…. He for me was a great miss.. He was the type of player who mostly went under the radder to a lot of fans..
