Watford will play second fiddle to their sporting in-laws Saracens after rugby got given preferential treatment over the Championship at the Ricoh Arena?.

You`d never catch that happening at Vicarage Road you know.

The Hornets have already suffered the embarrassment of seeing a match dragged forward kicking and screaming by 24 hours due to egg chasing in Swansea last month and the same has happened to the scheduled April away day in Coventry.

The Championship clash between Watford and Chris Coleman`s Sky Blues has been pulled forward to a really inconvenient Friday night slot on the 24th April 2009 (ko 7.45pm) so the 33,000 seater stadium can accommodate Saracens in some Heineken Cup rugby tournament.

Coventry`s Ricoh Arena was chosen to host a batch of Rugby Union matches last season – when the Wolves clash was the unfortunate victim – and it seems the venue of choice in the Midlands is once again proving popular?

Well they`ve got to pay off the debt somehow!!!
