Various sources are informing that ex Watford youth full back, Marvin McCoy, has joined Hereford United on a 1 month contract after being released by the Hornets.

Now, here at VitalWatford we tend to keep our ear well and truly nailed to the ground in pursuit of the latest news but we`ll admit this completely passed us by?Trust us, heads will roll!!!

Academy scholar McCoy failed to earn a new contract at Vicarage Road in July, after featuring heavily in the U18 side and making 6 reserve team appearances against the likes of Arsenal, Villa and Portsmouth. Despite putting in some solid performances in the Herts Senior Cup, McCoy failed to make the breakthrough to the fringes of the first team and is not a name that will easily roll off the tongue of even the ardentest of ardent Watford fans.

The pacy full back will now look to impress at Edgar Street and team up with Hornet loanees Theo Robinson and Toumani Diagouraga who are gaining valuable first team experience under the guidance of Bulls boss Graham Turner.
