R you sure?!

You would have thought scoring four goals in three successive games would be enought to convince Q.P.R manager Jim Magilton that he didn’t need another striker.

However, the ‘form’ of Nathan Ellington has done otherwise and according the Daily Star, which doesn’t even cover world news, let alone obscure Football League transfers, the Hornet’s forward is a target for the R’s.

Ellington recently bagged his first of the season and his first in eighteen months for the Hornet’s to take him up to a whopping five in a Watford shirt since arriving in 2007. Where he will fit in alongside Jay Simpson, whose bagged that many goals in 9 Q.P.R starts, Adel Taarabt and Akos Buszaky, neither of whom can stop scoring, who, frankly cares, as long as we get him off the wage bill.

And don’t get me wrong, this isn’t another Ellington-bashing article, the guy quite clearly has given his all this season and looks twice the player he was during his first spell, but as the man himself said, it’s best for all parties if he leaves, a.s.a.p.
