Plymouth have had their players out in force in front of the local press insisting “Watford is a massive game”, “Watford is huge” and “we are playing better away from home” as the spin machine is turned to full tilt ahead of the crunch 12-pointer relegation clash with Watford at Vicarage Road?

The Pilgrims, who know anything other than a win in WD18 is no good for them whatsoever, have even dubbed the game “a case of do or die” on the ‘fficial site whilst some of Devon`s local rags have already dubbed the game “the biggest game since 2004”.

So, it`s a bit of a surprise then to hear the Pilgrims`s club captain, Roman Larrieu, tell the Plymouth Evening Herard that the pressure is all Watford`s!!!

The Second string shot stopper stated “It`s a very important game, there is no way around it?I know the boys won`t be overwhelmed by it?They [Watford] are under pressure because they don`t want to be where we are right now.

Larrieu added “They know if we do well tomorrow, they will be right in it for the very first time, and the middle of April isn’t a good moment for that to happen.”

(That`s what you get for having a club captain who sits on the bench every week I guess!)

Hmm, the silence coming out of WD18 at the moment remains dignified with no sign of desperation – either that or we can`t find a player not in the treatment room to give the W`Observer a soundbite or two!
