Vital Leeds ed. Dazza71 gives us the inside track on his side

How kind is the run in for Leeds and will you be able to sneak a Play Off spot?

We have a much easier run in at home than away but our home form is what our biggest problem is at the moment.

We haven’t managed a clean sheet at home since December and only two all

eason. We have four games left at home and they are all against sides below us, Watford, Derby, Peterborough and Leicester. After what happened against Forest recently, that counts for nothing.

Our three away games are all against teams above us, Reading, Blackpool and Cardiff.

Of our seven remaining games, I think we need five wins and cannot afford to lose at Blackpool or Cardiff.

At the moment, it seems nobody below Southampton and Reading want to go up and all are falling over each other to drop out of the Play-Offs.

I think 72 points will do and I think we will fall just short. Personally, I do not think it will be a bad thing.

The summer will give Warnock time to put his own side together and I will be very confident next season.

I think if we went up this season, we would be more likely to come straight back down.

What do Leeds fans make of Neil Warnock’s appointment?

I think most of us are very happy that he was appointed has Leeds manager. He has been there, seen it and done it and knows how to get teams promoted..

He will not allow players to get away with underperforming. This season he is stuck with what he has inherited but I expect a huge clear-out in the summer.

What has changed since Warnock arrived?

Apart from the Forest game, the whole side are working much harder. The midfield are more protective of the defence and the strikers are chasing things down as well.

There is definitely more of a buzz around Elland Road again since he arrived. The Leeds fans are quite demanding but we are always a bit more forgiving if we can see the effort being put in from the players.

How have Hornets old boys Danny Webber and Paul Robinson settled in?

Robinson looks a typical Warnock type of player. Willing to get stuck in and he puts his body on the line. I can see him becoming very popular at Elland Road if he becomes a permanent signing.

Webber looked really good on debut when he came off the bench against Southampton.

For me, he is a typical winger who is good in flashes. Having not played all season until he joined us, I think he is doing really well. If he can stay fit, and I believe that is his problem, I think he could be influential if he stays next season.

Who will be the key man for you on Saturday?

I think we need to control the centre of midfield. Michael Brown has been a new player since Warnock arrived and if he is winning the battle in midfield along with Adam Clayton. That is where the influence on the game will take place.

If you could swap one Leeds player for one Watford player, who would you switch and why?

I quite liked the lad Marvin Sordell but he has now gone.

We came close to signing John Eustace a couple of seasons ago and I still think he would be a good addition in our midfield. He certainly has the Warnock work ethic.

I have seen some of your goalkeeping this season and some of the mistakes. We have a really good goalkeeper who has not had much of a chance this season. Paul Rachubka would be an excellent addition to your squad.

Match prediction?

We just have to win if we are going to stand any chance of play-offs. I am hoping we have drawn confidence from the Millwall win and the fact we are now just three points outside the play-offs.

It has got to be a Leeds win, 3-1

Cheers Daz – we did see Paul Rachubka’s Blackpool horror show!
