On-loan Chelsea goalkeeper Yves Makabu-Ma-Kalambay has had his stay at Vicarage Road cut short at the request of Premiership champions Chelsea.

The twenty-year-old is yet to make a senior appearance in the game but sat on the bench as cover for Alec Chamberlain while Ben Foster was suspended during the 1-0 victory at Brighton.

The six-foot-five-inches-tall keeper returned to West London in time to provide cover for former on-loan Hornet Lenny Pidgely in time for Chelsea reserves’ victory over Coventry City’s second string last night.
