With his side just three points off the relegation zone, tonight’s trip to WD18 couldn’t be much more daunting for Leicester City.

‘We have 15 games left. We have to get as many points as we can. We are easily good enough to do that.

‘There are teams above us we still have to play at home that we can move above. It’s a fantastic opportunity for the lads to go out there and prove a few people wrong.’

The former Plymouth and Queens Park Rangers gaffer insists his side can topple the high-flying Hornets, if they believe:

‘I believe in Leicester City and believe in my team.

‘They have to believe in themselves and each other because they are the ones out there doing it.’

Meanwhile, former Hornet James Chambers returns to Vicarage Road today after his first months at Leicester.

The versatile former Baggie is likely to start at right back though Richard Stearman will challenge that.

Chambers left at the end of the season after three years and over a hundred appearances:

‘I had a great three years there and I’ll be meeting up with some old friends.’

However, tonight is purely business and Chambers just wants to please the Foxes fans:

‘We’re not looking at our position, we’re just taking this game by game.

‘We want to please the fans by putting in the performances. If we get the results, we climb up the table. If we can go on a consistent run it will take us into the top half.’

Watford of course have their own ideas, just a point ahead of second placed West Brom…
